Mega Stars (10-16yrs)
starXpress is suitable for all children and young people who love to perform! For those wishing to train for a career on the stage to those looking to just have fun and meet new people, Mega Stars will help them build their confidence, explore their own talents and gain invaluable skills for life.
Mega Stars are trained in three disciplines: singing, dancing and acting during the three hour weekly session.
The structured sessions have an emphasis on performance and having fun whilst learning.
Every year the mega stars have their own special ?star? awards ceremony where all the children come together to enjoy a wonderful celebration party.
Mega stars are trained by professional educators and performers from within the theatre profession. There are fifteen members in each class.
The Mega Stars get to perform regularly during the year, with their main production (a fully produced musical) in the spring and in the summer various workshop productions such as classical plays in the park and appearing at local festivals and events.
Suitable clothing should be worn: starXpress t-shirts and jazz shoes are compulsory and we advise black jazz pants or jogging bottoms. Jean, skirts and jewellery are not permitted. Long hair should be tied back neatly.
